Elina loves Chase so much. She is so happy he has a brother. She will have Chase sit in her lap and just hold him. It is very touching.

Our Adoption Timeline
6/4/10 - Receive our referral for Rickson Jinna born on May 1, 2010!
5/7/10 - Receive our immigration approval letter!
4/22/10 - Our Dossier's are sent to the Marshall Islands to await the possible referral of our baby boy (born 4/11/10).
4/13/10 - We get the call from our program coordinator that a baby boy was born on Sunday, April 11. They need our Dossiers!
3/24/10 - Home-study re-do approved from Journey's of the Heart and I-600A sent to immigration!
1/4/10 - Formal application logged. Offically on waiting list. We are number 20!!!
12/30/09 - Formal contract and application overnighted to Journeys of the Heart
12/23/09 - Fire inspection
12/16/09 - Initial application approved for the Marshall Islands Program!
12/10/09 - Switch to Marshall Islands!
12/9/10 - Tell Kentucky Adoption Services that we are formally switching to Marshall Islands
12/8/09 - Meet Kendra and her kids Olivia and Gavin from the Marshall Islands in line at H1N1 flu clinic!
12/7/09 - Chris and I decide we need to switch from the country of Nepal
11/09 - 12/09 - Five homestudy visits. Nov 09 - initial visit, 12/3 and 12/4 individual visits, 12/8 and final visit on December 15
12/3/09 - Homestudy packet of information finally complete and overnighted to Family Adoption Services!
10/23/09 - Formal Application to Nepal submitted to KAS
10/8/09 - Pre-application submitted to KAS for Nepal
9/29/09 - 9th spot of 10 held for us for the 2010 group for Nepal
12/08 - Find out our dear friends from college and Owensboro are thinking of adopting from Nepal also
8/24/08 - Dinner out for our birthday's at Morton's steakhouse. First decided adoption was really in our future. And the journey begins!!
